Towns and villages

Where you’ll see our van

Town notes describe the sample work this demo business does most in each place.

  • Bramhall

Our yard is here, so this is where most of our crown reductions and hedge work happen.

  • Cheadle Hulme

Felling in tight back gardens, lowered in sections over sheds and fences.

  • Hazel Grove

Pruning back from terraces, and stumps ground out through narrow side gates.

  • Poynton

Hedge cutting and reductions, timed around the nesting season.

  • Handforth

Garden trees pruned, reduced and taken down, with the waste chipped and taken away.

  • Wilmslow

Large garden trees, with the council checks and applications done for you.

  • Alderley Edge

Crown work on big trees, and long formal hedges kept in shape.

  • Prestbury

Careful pruning and felling, with the permissions checked before we quote.

  • Marple

Storm-damaged trees cleared and stumps ground out for new beds.

  • Disley

Garden and boundary trees on sloping sites, rigged down safely.

Why choose us

Good tree work is mostly the planning.

The cutting is the quick part. Most of our time goes on looking at the tree properly, checking what is allowed, and planning how every piece comes down safely.

  • Permissions checkedWe check for preservation orders and conservation areas before we quote.
  • Nests checked firstIf birds are nesting, we wait, unless a tree is dangerous.
  • Trained climbersChainsaw and tree-climbing certificates, held by the people who climb.
  • Nothing left behindGreen waste chipped and recycled; the garden swept before we go.

FAQs

Travel and visits

How we arrange quote visits and work across the area.

Do you charge for travel?

Not within the towns on this page. Further afield, any travel is included in the written quote, never added afterwards.

My town is not listed. Can you still help?

Often, yes. We work across Stockport and north Cheshire, so ask and we will tell you straight away whether we can come.

How soon can you visit to quote?

We arrange quote visits by phone or by reply to your request, at a time that suits you. We never promise a visit or a date until we have agreed it with you.

Got a question we haven’t answered?

Ask in the quote form’s note, or call and talk it through with the person who will do the work.

Get a quote

Tell us about your tree.

A few short steps and no obligation. We reply to talk about a visit, then send a written quote. Free written quotes come with every visit.

What needs doing?

Choose the closest. You can explain more at the end.

Roughly how big is it?

Compared with the house is fine. For a hedge, think of its height.

Where is it?

Just the town or postcode for now. We ask for the address only if a visit is needed.

How do we get to it?

Where should we reply?

A name and one way to reach you. Everything else is optional.

We use it only to reply about this quote.

Photos (optional)

A photo of the whole tree helps. In this demo they stay on your device and are never uploaded.

What is wrong, how many trees, or anything about parking and access.

Demo request

Your quote request is ready

On a real Hollin site this would go straight to the team, who reply within one working day to talk about a visit. Nothing is booked until a date is agreed with you.

This is a demo website, so nothing was sent and nothing was stored.

  • A photo of the whole tree, and one closer up, if you can
  • How we get in: side gate, alley or through the house
  • Any letter from the council about the tree
